A Micro Teaching Seminar was conducted in our college under the guidance of Kalaivani mam and Krithiga mam. The seminar aimed to enhance the teaching skills of B .Ed trainees by focusing on specific teaching competencies such as introduction, Explaining, Questioning, Reinforcement and blackboard writing skills.
During the session, the resource persons clearly explained the concept, steps, and importance of micro teaching in teacher education. They demonstrated how to plan a micro lesson, practice a particular teaching skill, receive feedback, and improce through re-teaching.
The seminar was highly interactive and informative. It helped us understand the practical application of teaching skills in a classroom setting. Overall, the session was very useful and strengthened our confidence in becoming effective teachers.
